Climate Change and Cooperative Economies

  • Community Church of New York 40 East 35th Street New York, NY 10016 (map)

Join Friends of Cooperation Jackson Friday, September 19th for a fun filled mixer and forum to learn how the work towards cooperative economics connects with the fight for racial and climate justice.

On the eve of the largest demonstration of our short century, members of Cooperation Jackson will be arriving in New York City to participate in the People's Climate March and demand Climate Justice. While in New York they will also share updates on their work for a vibrant cooperative economy in the south.

Featuring Brandon King, Kali Akuno, Iya'Falola H. Omobola, Dara Cooper and Rukia Lumumba.

This mixer/forum is an event sponsored by Friends of Cooperation Jackson. Donations to support the work of Cooperation Jackson are welcome. Please make checks or money orders out to "Cooperation Jackson"
